Neck and décolleté care tips – improve your beauty rutin

The skin of the neck and décolleté area is the first to reveal our age, as it is very much like the skin around the eyes: it is thinner and more sensitive than the skin of the rest of the body. There is less subcutaneous fat and there are fewer sebaceous glands. As a result, the skin in this area tends to dry out more quickly and is more susceptible to inflammation and irritation. The skin of the neck and décolleté can easily be affected by environmental and lifestyle factors, such as exposure to the sun, an unbalanced diet, lack of physical activity, smoking and the common problem of modern times – improper posture.

It is the posture you assume when you lean forward while looking at your phone screen. If this posture is repeated over long periods of time, it can cause not only muscle pain, but also the formation of a tech neck – a wrinkle in the place where the neck bends.

To prevent the effects of premature ageing of your neck and décolleté, give these areas the same amount of care as you give to the skin on your face.

During each skincare routine, treat the skin of the neck and décolleté by working your way up the neck in a gentle upward motion. For the décolleté, apply a nourishing natural moisturizing cream containing antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to moisturize the skin and stimulate its regeneration, using your fingertips, alternating between the left and right hands, working upwards, applying a slightly firmer pressure.
